Biochemistry

The biochemical profile is a sequence of blood tests that is used to assess the functional capability of several important organs and systems, together with the liver and kidneys. These examinations can be performed on an empty stomach or not, and are generally co-existed by using a complete blood count (CBC).

The various factors of the biochemical profile enables the clinician to specify different diagnostic alternatives which can ultimately be confirmed through additional tests.
